Build time depends upon the age of the kid and the ability to build such toys. Normally it takes 6 to 10 hours to build this toy set depending on whether you get stuck on in any steps of construction. There is a suggestion from us, if you stuck somewhere you can “google” the specific step where you get problem to find solution from other people who already build it. Cockpit is the area that is comparatively complicated to build. In answer to the question posted by a customer at Amazon. The Lego Service Team replied with the following answer:
“Hi there! The cockpit can be one of the trickier bits of this build. For that particular bit, I find it’s easiest if you take what you’ve built so far from step 285 and hold it upright and steady with one hand. With the other hand, position the front piece loosely and then use one finger to press down gently on the center stud until the piece “clicks” into place. If it seems like the front piece might not fit right or isn’t popping into place like it should, double-check steps 284 and 285 to make sure that each piece is exactly in the position shown in the instructions.
If you need any more help troubleshooting the build, you can get in touch with our LEGO® experts at LEGO.com/Service.
